All of the profits of this one-of-a-kind pint are going to the My Name\u20195 Doddie Foundation. The craft lager is a taken on a classic Cold Town lager flavour profile with an added pilsner edge.<\/p>\n
Doddie Weir revealed he was suffering from motor neuron disease in June 2017. From the outset, Doddie has been driven to help find a cure for this devastating disease and support those affected by MND.<\/p>\n
Doddle spent some time at Cold Town House with Nic and Ed from Cold Town Beer talking about beer, tasting our range and telling us a few of his best stories.<\/p>\n

Doddie revealed he was suffering from motor neuron disease in June 2017. From the outset, Doddie has been driven to help find a cure for this devastating disease and support those affected by MND. He has expressed his frustration at the lack of progress over the last two decades, saying:<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to push the need for research into MND further up the agenda. We may be too late in finding something that can help me, but I am committed to doing everything I can to help find a cure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n A person\u2019s lifetime risk of developing MND is around 1 in 300. The disease kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two and a half years of diagnosis.<\/p>\n Thirst Craft kindly donated their creative time and expertise into the creation of Doddie Beir.
