Last year we visited student halls at Heriot Watt University and Queen Margaret University to give out cans of complimentary beer to students. Why? Moving away from home for the first time and being locked down in your halls with a group of strangers sucks, and we wanted to try and help where we could.
“As our way to say thank you for isolating and helping slow the spread of the virus, we’re giving away a can of Cold Town Beer lager to students at a number of universities and colleges across the city.
“At this time of the year we should be seeing students starting and returning to University, Fresher’s Fairs would be in full swing and student events would be buzzing – so enjoy a cold one on us and we look forward to seeing you for a pint once it’s safe to do so.”
