Our general delivery charge is £5. As of March 2021, Free Delivery is now applied to all orders over £50.
Cold Town Beer cannot accept responsibility of failed delivery if a customer has provided an incorrect address or contact details. Please ensure all delivery information is correct when placing your order.
Should your package be faulty or contain damaged goods please don’t hesitate to contact us via [email protected] so that we can sort it out.
Delivery Times and Information
We know that waiting days upon days for your drinks to arrive is bad craic. We work closely with APC Overnight and aim to provide next day delivery on all can, keg and merchandise orders.
Place your order before 1pm for same day dispatch and next day delivery. Please note that we only dispatch Monday – Friday, and our couriers only deliver Monday – Saturday. We are unable to deliver on national holidays such as Easter Friday.
We now hold our range of merchandise at our brewery. This might sound like a small change, but it means you can expect your brews and your merch to arrive at the same time.
If you have ordered alcohol from us then please be aware that your courier may ask to see a form of ID.
Please note that we cannot currently hold stock for you. All orders are automatically processed, so please do not place an order if you do not want your order to arrive for a few weeks.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions on the amount of people allowed in the brewery at once and an increased pressure on all courier and delivery companies, please be aware that there may be occasional delays outside of our control.
If you receive a merchandise order that doesn’t quite fit, get in touch with us within 10 days of receiving the order to let us know. You will receive a reply shortly afterwards inviting you to send the item back to 8-10 Dunedin St, Edinburgh EH7 4JB. Once we receive your item, we will send out a new size of your choice.
Sometimes, your order may face great trials and tribulations between it leaving our brewery and getting to you which may lead to it arriving damaged or broken. We work closely with our courier company to limit this as much as possible, but unfortunately mistakes do happen.
If you receive damaged goods, please get in touch with photography of the damage where possible as soon as possible. A member of our team will be able to arrange a replacement product free of charge.
Click ‘Can’ Collect
Please note that Click Can Collect has moved! All collections are now available from Cold Town House, 4 Grassmarket, Edinburgh, EH1 2JU.
Collection slots are available Sunday – Friday 12pm – 7pm.
We currently require 24 hours notice on all orders, and orders must be placed online through the website.
Only certain products are available for collection. Please double-check the specific product page for more information.

To place a Click Can Collect order, select “Click here to pick up this item” next to each product on the basket page. A short guide can be found here.
Please ensure that you follow all COVID-19 guidelines when coming to pick up your order, including wearing a mask and keeping at a safe distance from others.
You should bring a valid form of ID with you as we Challenge 25, and also an email or physical copy of your order confirmation.
