Fantastic news! Over 10,000 pints of our brand new Doddie Beir have been poured in aid of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. It’s incredible to see the support for the initiative and we would like to thank everyone who has helped us raise money so far.
The charity beer is being poured throughout the Six Nations games to raise money for the foundation which invests into research around Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
All the the profits from Doddie Beir go directly to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
Doddie Weir revealed he was suffering from motor neuron disease in June 2017. From the outset, Doddie has been driven to help find a cure for this devastating disease and support those affected by MND, saying “My attitude is that you should do what you can today and worry about tomorrow when it comes. This is the card I’ve been dealt so I’ve just got to crack on.”
The Foundation’s aims are simple: to raise funds to aid research int the causes of Motor Neuron Disease, and to make grants to individuals suffering from MND to enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.
